Yep, it’s British summertime and you need to be watering and feeding your trees… I’ve came across this article this morning from Swindon and District Bonsai, a very good article indeed describing the need for water and feed.
I use a liquid feed and a slow release pellet with my trees. The small pellets resting on the soils surface, and liquid feed once every two weeks if its not been raining too heavily. Pellets replenished or added too every 4-5 wks. The pellets were a replacement for the chicken poo I fed my trees early on in the year. The stench was just too much. Especially when my kids have their play shed so close!!
Your never too young to learn, and you could have an apprentice like my Son. He loves defoliating my Yamadori Beech and look after the lower trees with good watering!!
Great shot, will have to train my small fella in when he starts walking š
He’ll be sitting up by now surely š
Ya he is climbing anything he can see. And standing with the help of the couch. So not too long now š will have to get him a little watering can.
We almost skipped the basics and went to walking. Far quicker than my little girl. She loves helping leaf prune and juniper foliage š
They change so fast! Don’t be in a rush for them to change… Enjoy every moment š
